Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is highly organized and strategic project management professional with experience supporting complex operational environments and large-scale budgets. The individual will possess strong financial, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities across a diverse group of stakeholders. The candidate should demonstrate sound judgement, initiative, and the ability to work independtly while providing executive-level support to senior leadership. Experience in water, wastewater, utilities, public works, engineering, manufacturing or other highly regulated industries is preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing budgets, coordinating projects, developing performance metrics, and providing data-driven recommendations to support operational decision. The candidate will provide centralized project management and budget coordination support for the Plant Operations Division, overseeing an $85+ annual operating and capital budget for four (4) regional water treatment facilities, five (5) regional wastewater treatment facilities and county-wide reclaimed water distribution operations. Will develop project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to support plant operations priorities, identify risk, and resource constraints and elevate issues to leadership with recommended mitigation strategies, coordinate cross-plant initiatives to ensure consistency in execution, documentation, and reporting. Will analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimization, develop and maintain standardized tools and templates for budget and project tracking.
