In this role, you'll:
Take on an exciting and impactful role that leads and manages the delivery of Customer Information & Business projects. You’ll work to ensure outcomes are achieved with projects meeting budget, schedule and the desired benefits for customers.
Have a varied work day that could include what you would expect for a PM in the technology space.
You’ll work extensively in managing the project lifecycle from project financials, to dealing with various stakeholders (contractors, 3rd party providers, project teams, etc), project reporting and more.
Work in both a Waterfall and Agile environment to ensure all project standards are met, you’ll run meetings, work with various SMEs, and ensure everything is consistent with Sydney Trains management systems requirements.
The Customer Information & Business Channels team is responsible for what train information you see (screens), hear (announcements) at ST train stations and what customers self serve (data for internal and external Digital travel apps). The teams also supports our Business facing teams, Guards, Drivers, Station Staff with services and digital capabilities through digital apps such as NextThere & TCSS Portal.
It is a fixed term full time role until the end of May 2027 within a strong team and offers hybrid flexibility (with some time still expected in the office).

About you
You’re an experienced Project Management professional, ideally from the technology space. You’re someone who’s strengths include stakeholder management, budget management, and has a history of successfully hitting project delivery milestones.
Experience is most important, but the ideal candidate will have qualifications in Project Management (PMP, Agile, etc). In addition, you’re a fantastic communicator, who is adaptable, can manage competing priorities, and has strong computer proficiency.
This role suits someone who brings strong PM experience but also wants to be in a role that impacts millions of Sydney Trains Customers.
