In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering consistent, high‑quality technology outcomes by coordinating virtual teams and technical disciplines, aligning solutions with business priorities and enterprise architecture, and supporting efficient delivery across major road infrastructure projects (including Western Harbour Tunnel, Sydney Harbour Tunnel Control System, and Warringah Freeway Upgrade), as well as TMC initiatives to enhance operational systems.

  • You will integrate Intelligent Transport System (ITS) on major road and high-profile motorway projects. Experience in project managing operational technology or control systems is desired
  • You will deliver technology projects to approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality, with clear performance reporting to uplift Transport‑wide systems and services.
  • You will lead multi‑stream technical delivery teams, ensuring solutions align with business needs, enterprise architecture standards, and the software delivery lifecycle.
  • You will manage end‑to‑end technical delivery across development, testing, implementation, handover, and acceptance to minimise delivery risk.
  • You will ensure strong governance, risk, and stakeholder management by coordinating cross‑discipline teams, overseeing vendors, escalating dependencies, and reporting delivery metrics.

About you

  • You bring strong technical engineering project delivery experience across complex initiatives.
  • You are skilled at managing stakeholders across multiple disciplines to drive coordinated outcomes.
  • You communicate risks, issues, and dependencies clearly and confidently to executive audiences.
  • Your knowledge of transport network operations (beneficial) supports effective technology and delivery decisions.
