Siemens Mobility is the trusted partner for sustainable and seamless public transport solutions for rail and road. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the onshore execution of a major metro signaling project in Taiwan. In this role, you will act as the local execution lead, coordinating the onshore team, driving day-to-day progress, and ensuring that project activities are delivered safely, on time, and with high quality. You will work closely with international engineering and project teams, while being the key local interface towards the customer and partners in Taiwan.

Responsibilities

Lead onshore execution

  • Drive and coordinate all onshore project activities across engineering, installation, and commissioning
  • Lead the local project team (approx. 3-6 people) and ensure clear priorities and alignment
  • Ensure daily execution is well organized, structured, and moving forward

Manage interfaces and stakeholders

  • Act as the main local interface towards customers, operators, and external partners
  • Ensure smooth communication between the Taiwan team and international project teams
  • Support alignment across technical, commercial, and operational topics

Control progress and resolve issues

  • Monitor schedule, risks, and execution progress on the ground
  • Identify issues early and take ownership to resolve them
  • Coordinate mitigation actions and keep the project on track

Support project steering

  • Provide clear and structured status reporting to management
  • Contribute to decision-making topics related to execution, risks, and changes
  • Support contract and cost topics together with the core project team

Requirements

  • Experience in project execution (rail, E&M, infrastructure, or similar environments)
  • Experience leading teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of project coordination, scheduling, and execution control
  • Ability to work in a structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way
  • Comfortable working in an international environment
  • Bachelor' s degree in engineering or related field
  • Around 5–10+ years of relevant project experience
  • Mandarin (fluent) and English (working level)
  • Experience in rail / metro projects is a plus, but not mandatory
