Position: Delivery Project Manager
Sector: Data Centres / Critical Infrastructure
An opportunity exists for an experienced and driven Delivery Project Manager to lead the execution of a major data centre development currently in the approvals phase. This role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of a hyperscale facility, from concept design through to practical completion and handover. The ideal candidate will thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and bring a solutions-focused mindset to the management of large infrastructure builds.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle alongside the Project Director, including planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Drive successful construction delivery while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project alignment and integration.
Monitor program schedules, budget performance, and critical milestones, proactively managing risk and delays.
Ensure continued compliance with all relevant authority approvals, development conditions, and statutory requirements.
Represent the project in stakeholder meetings and report on progress to senior leadership and external partners.
Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement across all delivery partners.
About You:
Experienced in delivering complex infrastructure or data centre projects in a leadership capacity.
Comfortable working in high-performance, evolving environments and managing multiple priorities.
Confident communicator with strong issue-resolution and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient with construction project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, and Aconex.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, drawings, and industry regulations.
Collaborative, energetic, and driven to achieve high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in project delivery within the construction or data centre sectors.
Proven background working with or managing general contractors, particularly on structure and fit-out phases.
Prior exposure to data centre or mission-critical environments is highly regarded.
