Carrier in Palm Beach Gardens is seeking an expert project manager to take responsibility for Supplier Quality & Development initiatives on a global scale.

About this role

As a Project Manager in Supplier Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers meet and exceed our quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive supplier development, continuous improvements, and quality assurance initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of quality management, project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

This is an onsite role in Palm Beach Gardens.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage plans, guidelines, policies, and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets
• Implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving
• Oversee quality improvement processes to ensure ongoing reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes
• Collect and analyze quality information from multiple sources to develop long-term quality strategies and programs
• Provide production process analyses, ensure quality standards are met, and make recommendations for quality improvement
• Develop and manage processes, standards, and plans for implementing minimum standards
• Utilize tools and methods to ensure the effectiveness of existing quality processes and sustain quality performance improvements
• Direct processes or standards in support of the Carrier Supplier Gold program to ensure healthy, continuous improvement and sustainability
• Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, government regulations, and agency guidelines to ensure compliance with external standards
• Plan and execute programmatic quality requirements
• Lead FOCUS supplier initiatives
• Manage reviews of procedures and metrics that impact supplier quality throughout the organization, ensure compliance with internal standards

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics
• 10 years plus of experience in quality, manufacturing, or supply chain
• US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

Other qualifications you may have that would be beneficial in this role include:

• Master’s degree
• Understand quality management systems and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO standards).
• Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities
• English communication and interpersonal skills
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Relevant certifications (i.e., ASQ Certified Quality Professional)
