Job Description

GE Vernova Hitachi is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Project Manager to support the Services PARTS Product Lines (Electrical, Electronic, Motors, Mechanical and Reactor Internals). This role will be responsible to deliver high quality ITO/OTR process results associated with quote review, quote issuance, order entry, customer order requirements reviews, technical and financial order classification, fulfillment, and backlog management. The immediate focus for this role will be to support the Electrical product line.
You will serve as a cross-functional focal point between customers and internal teams (Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Scheduling, etc.), with the flexibility to support multiple product lines based on business needs. The role requires a proactive problem solver who can thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Roles and Responsibilities

    • Project Planning and Execution
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues that could cause delays or customer dissatisfaction.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders.
    • Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with strong prioritization skills.
    • Serve as the central point of contact among all stakeholders—customers, ITO/OTR PMs, Engineering, Sourcing, Finance, Scheduling, Manufacturing, and Logistics.
    • Drive performance across key metrics including:
      • Quote Cycle Time
      • Quote Backlog
      • On-Time Delivery (OTD)
      • Win Rate
      • OTR Cycle Time
    • Lead waste reduction and continuous improvement projects
    • Ensure all quotes and orders meet technical, financial, and customer-specific requirements.
    • Champion operational excellence, quality, integrity, and compliance.
    • Support strategic initiatives across the Parts business and serve as a change agent.
    • Open to working off-shift hours as needed to support urgent business or customer needs.
  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Business with at least 3 years of experience in Program Management, Project Management, or Business Management

  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Strong understanding of financial principles including revenue, income statements, balance sheets, and cash/inventory metrics
    • Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt certification preferred)
    • Proven leadership and motivation skills
    • Previous experience with on-site manufacturing operations
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with a bias for action
    • Familiarity with Oracle ERP or equivalent enterprise systems
    • Familiarity with project management tools
    • Customer service mindset with experience in parts supply chain operations
    • Previous experience working in nuclear energy or GVH-related industries
    • Demonstrated success working across multiple levels of an organization

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
