Location: Remote - Newbury Park, CA

Employment Type: Contingent Worker (Contract, W2)

Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension)

Compensation: $75/$82 per hour (based on experience)

Summary of the Role

Lead and manage high-level, complex non-technical projects for a big biopharma leader. Oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, aligning scope, time, cost, and quality requirements with business objectives. Collaborate closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage one or more strategic, non-technical projects from inception to completion
• Coordinate resource allocation and guide all development lifecycle phases, including feasibility, requirements, analysis, ROI, business planning, design, testing, and implementation
• Lead and support workshops, preparing and synthesizing presentation materials
• Deliver presentations to senior management and stakeholders
• Direct activities of project team members and cross-functional groups
• Document project requirements and objectives, ensuring advancement per plan
• Effectively escalate and resolve project barriers
• Obtain and manage external resources as needed

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven expertise managing medium to large scale projects
• Excellent understanding of project management processes, procedures, and best practices
• Hands-on experience with project management and analysis methodologies
• Strong analytical and business process development skills, including change management
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Word, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and SmartSheet
• Familiarity with systems for sharing and collaboration
• Excellent communication skills for working with cross-program resources
• Tech savvy mindset

• Develop detailed project plans and manage execution
• Lead and facilitate workshops, synthesize materials, and deliver presentations
• Coordinate and direct team members' activities
• Document all project objectives and drive progress
• Escalate and resolve any barriers to project completion

Basic Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 3 years of experience
• Masters degree and 5 years of experience
• Bachelors degree and 7 years of experience
• Associates degree and 12 years of experience
• High school diploma / GED and 14 years of experience
