Project Manager in Securities Origination (SO) Unit is a high-level specialist who is responsible for maintaining active relationships with existing and potential clients and, once engaged, assuring efficient management of bond issuance process. Also, Project Manager holds the responsibility to act in accordance with internal Securities Origination Procedure and other relevant procedures.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Maintaining client relationships in the context of SO activities
  • Identifying and coordinating with Corporates Department potential SO business opportunities in the Baltics
  • Continuously monitoring the latest developments in the domestic and international credit markets
  • Providing transaction proposals and pricing indications to potential bond issuers
  • Preparing and submitting the transaction proposal and other documents to the decision making body, including transaction target market identification and trading limit approval, when applicable
  • Ensuring proper storage of the decision minutes and other important transaction information and documents
  • Identifying and registering all insiders according to relevant procedures
  • Efficiently managing ongoing SO projects, including interactions with all relevant stakeholders, transaction structuring, documentation, marketing materials and execution, as well as post-transaction support, when applicable
  • During transaction, ensuring that the prospectus or other applicable documentation for issuance of financial instruments is prepared and published
  • Keeping the client informed on changes in capital markets and their potential impact on the transaction by coordinating the market updates
  • Maintaining confidentiality in relation to SO client affairs by protecting the information from spreading internally within the bank as well as to third parties
  • Complying with all the internal and external regulations and legal enactments applicable to the job position

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • 3 years of experience in banking, insurance, financial markets, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similar area within the financial sector
  • Strong understanding of lending, investments, financial markets, and financial products
  • Proven ability to analyze financial statements and evaluate business performance with a critical and analytical mindset
  • Experience managing projects and driving initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships both internally and externally
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines
  • Understanding of risk management principles and the ability to assess risks related to customers and their business activities
  • Higher education degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field
  • Proactive, accountable, and comfortable taking ownership of responsibilities and outcomes
  • Valid BFAA Investment Information Provider (IIP) License, Investment Advisor (IA) license or equivalent
  • Fluent English and Latvian are required in spoken and written communication due to working on Pan-Baltic level
