About the Role
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering clinical technology projects on time, within budget, and to Signant Health’s quality standards. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Associate Director of Global Project Management, this role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and internal stakeholders across Simple to Medium complexity studies within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
This role calls for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, excels at problem-solving, and can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining strong relationships and first-time quality delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES – Function
• Lead project delivery activities across Simple to Medium complexity clinical technology studies, including management of the full SDLC.
• Ensure project systems are built, configured, and released in accordance with client expectations, including leading the change control process.
• Manage projects in accordance with established timelines, budgets, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Serve as the primary client contact on assigned projects, maintaining transparent and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle client escalations independently and work cross-functionally to resolve issues, escalating internally as appropriate and in a timely manner.
• Own the financial health of assigned projects, including vendor services, licensing, invoicing, device management, resource assignments, and vendor management activities.
• Identify, document, and manage Incident Reports in coordination with the Quality Management team, including client notification and closure.
• Review, approve, and maintain project and corporate documentation and systems.
• Deliver regular project status updates to appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support complex, multi-product project implementations as needed.
• Contribute to company-wide process improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency and client outcomes.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Prior experience in a Project Management role or equivalent.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the specification and configuration of software products.
• Excellent time management, communication (oral and written), and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to first-time quality delivery.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and drive client satisfaction while adhering to study financials.
• Comfortable presenting to large or diverse audiences, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
Desirable:
• Background in pharmaceutical, medical education, or CRO environments.
• Experience in clinical trials, pharmaceutical industry, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles and the clinical research environment.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management qualification.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
