JRG Partners Construction Search Firm is representing a premier general contracting firm based in Tampa, FL, known for our commitment to quality and excellence in the construction industry. We specialize in restaurant construction projects, bringing innovative solutions and management excellence to every project we undertake.

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our clients growing team. This role requires a driven individual with a strong foundation in restaurant construction management. The successful candidate will provide leadership and oversight on projects, ensuring successful outcomes that align with our strategic goals and customer expectations.

Location: Tampa, FL

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Preconstruction team to estimate and plan projects efficiently.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications tailored to restaurant construction.
• Mentor and support less experienced project management staff, fostering a team environment that emphasizes growth and learning.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors to secure and sustain business growth.
• Manage the procurement of Subcontractors and Vendors, ensuring comprehensive scope of work reviews, contract compliance, and risk management.
• Address and resolve drawing interpretation issues, conflicts, and discrepancies.
• Oversee project administration tasks including Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Proposals, Owner Billings, and Monthly Reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial projections and cost management to forecast total estimated project costs.
• Monitor and update Project Schedules, reporting on progress and ensuring timely project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications or substantial project management experience in restaurant construction may substitute for education.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, specifically with restaurant construction projects.
• Proficient understanding of construction methods and building systems specific to the hospitality and restaurant sector.
• Strong financial management and project oversight abilities, with a proven track record of managing projects from inception to completion.
