
PIC North America, a Genus Company, has an exciting opportunity. We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager R&D (Midwest Region - USA) with a strong background in Biotech, Genetics or genetics improvement to join our team. In this role, you will partner closely with our Product Management team and lead cross-functional initiatives spanning the full project lifecycle.
As Project Manager, you will guide projects from initiation through completion—ensuring milestones are achieved, risks are proactively managed, scientific inputs are well‑evaluated, and stakeholders stay aligned. Success in this position requires strong project management expertise as well as the ability to collaborate with and influence teams who may not report directly to you. Your foundation in genetics or genetic improvement programs will be essential for interpreting data, supporting technical decision‑making, constructively challenging assumptions, and establishing credibility across scientific and operational groups.
You will thrive in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment that requires collaboration across multiple departments, while also being capable of working independently and managing competing priorities. Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing are essential.
The preferred remote location for the position is Midwest Region of the United States. Travel approximately 20% domestically.
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000 USD. The salary provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Genus considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
