Job Description

Who You Are

Do you thrive on color-coded timelines, clear communication, and turning chaos into order? If so, you may be the perfect fit for our Project Manager role on the Professional Services team.

You’re equally comfortable behind the scenes and in front of clients, bringing both structure and momentum to projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Professional Services, you’ll keep teams aligned, clients engaged, and systems running smoothly. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, proactive, and passionate about event technology solutions, with a natural curiosity for leveraging AI tools to work smarter and optimize their day-to-day.

About the Role

As a Project Manager at Swoogo, you’ll work with an innovative team shaping the future of event technology. You’ll lead impactful client projects, collaborate with a global team, and help scale a growing Professional Services function. This is a chance to not only deliver excellent client outcomes but also shape how PS contributes to Swoogo’s success. This role will report to our Manager of Professional Services.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage multiple Professional Services projects concurrently, from kickoff to delivery
  • Build and maintain client relationships, identifying objectives and ensuring successful outcomes
  • Own project plans, schedules, and milestones; track progress, escalate risks, and deliver status updates to stakeholders
  • Lead cross-functional teams, motivating members to meet goals and project commitments
  • Collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and partners to drive success
  • Support QA processes and facilitate User Acceptance Testing to ensure quality delivery
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of methodologies, tools, and templates within Professional Services
  • Keep systems of record (Zendesk, Salesforce, Asana, Harvest, etc.) updated in line with team standards

What You’ve Done Before

  • 3-5+ years of project management experience or equivalent, delivering complex client-facing projects
  • 3+ years in SaaS (service delivery or solutions) with hands-on client engagement
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills—effective both in-person and virtually, at all levels
  • Experience managing large-scale and/or enterprise-level event technology implementations
  • Success working in cross-functional, globally distributed teams; international experience preferred
  • Solid technical vocabulary in website development, frameworks, and languages
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability
  • Self-motivated, independent, and skilled at managing multiple priorities and timelines
  • Leveraged AI tools to streamline workflows and improve day-to-day efficiency
  • Travel up to 10%

It’d Be Great to Have

  • 5+ years of SaaS experience (service delivery or solutions)
  • Familiarity with Swoogo or similar event management platforms
  • Experience in event management (event technology, registration, lead retrieval, or event marketing)
  • Strong knowledge of onsite event management processes and best practices
