The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Manager Process Improvement to drive strategic optimization initiatives across business units. In this role, you will enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen overall operational performance through structured process improvements and digital transformation.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead end-to-end process improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and A3 methodologies

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics with stakeholders

  • Analyse current processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities

  • Develop and implement scalable process solutions leveraging best practices and digital tools and drive change management, including workshops and trainings to ensure adoption

  • Lead CI method trainings (e.g. A3 problem solving)

  • Monitor project progress, risks, and performance, and report to senior management

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, IT, and other stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement

Your background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is a plus)

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management with focus on process improvement

  • Minimum 3 year of experience as continues improvement responsible

  • Proven track record in delivering complex process optimization initiatives Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) certification

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working in cross-functional and international environments

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced and evolving business environment

  • English is mandatory, German beneficial
