We are looking for an energetic and innovative engineering professional to join our Contracting Business Department. The appointee will be assigned to work at CLPP power stations located in Tuen Mun and Penny’s Bay and be responsible for the following duties:
Lead a multi-discipline team, which is responsible for design, installations & maintenance, interfacing with relevant parties, testing and commissioning, coordinating with other civil / E&M contractors and client’s representatives
Manage E&M systems related maintenance and new build projects
Handle design submissions, method statements, risks management plan, resources plan, tender proposals, procurement document, and safety & health plan
Plan and control project activities to ensure projects can be completed on time, within budget and outage window, and up to the required standards by closely monitoring the program, cost, resources utilization, contractor performance and mitigating possible project risks
Manage detailed site supervision to ensure compliance with contract specifications and other regulatory requirements
Provide timely project status updates, market trend and related information to the management
Assist in exploring business strategies as well as establishing business models, ultimately formulating and implementing development action plans under the strategies to develop projects pipeline
Implement and monitor the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality system to achieve the required standards
Supervise and motivate subordinates, frontline workforce and contractors to maximize their efficiency and potential in achieving optimal performance of maintenance activities
Assist in budgeting and reviewing project expenditure to ensure compliance with the Company policies, procedures and cost control principles
Night work and work in holidays is required when necessary
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements
A recognized university degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or other relevant engineering disciplines
Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience in maintenance of E&M systems with at least 3 years at managerial level
Solid project experience in maintenance of E&M systems, including high voltage & low voltage systems, Generator, Black Start Diesel Generator, Seal Oil System, seawater/ fresh water water cooling system…etc
Familiar with the E&M systems at Power Station or large scale plant is preferred
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Sound knowledge in commercial and financial skills in managing maintenance projects
Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative
Customer-oriented, results driven and responsible with strong commitment
Possession of Construction Industry Safety Card, CWRA
Possession of a valid driving license is preferred
Possession of professional corporate membership in Engineering Institution would be an added advantage
Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
