What you will do
You take ownership of projects across the full development lifecycle
- Lead R&D projects from concept and prototyping to validation and release
- Manage planning, budget, scope, and resources
- Align teams across engineering, production, and suppliers
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs
- Ensure a smooth transition from development to production
- Translate market and business needs into clear project goals
- Maintain transparent communication and reporting
- Work within Siemens PLM processes
You operate at the intersection of technology and execution, ensuring projects move forward and deliver tangible results.
What you bring
You are a technically grounded project manager who enjoys working in a complex engineering environment.
Your background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (HBO/WO), e.g. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- ~5+ years' experience in technical project management (R&D or hardware)
Your strengths
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Able to manage multiple stakeholders and technical dependencies
- Clear communicator who brings structure and alignment
- Proactive and solution-oriented
Technical affinity
- Interest in or experience with power electronics, power modules, or high-power systems
- Understanding of development and production environments
- Experience with tools like MS Project
Nice to have
- PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Lean
- Knowledge of NEN1010 / NEN3140, VCA-VOL
