Project Manager – Operational Excellence

We are seeking a results-driven, methodical, and collaborative Project Manager to manage a complex portfolio of projects for our Operational Excellence team. This role leverages standard project management methodologies including DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma principles (Yellow Belt and Green Belt) to drive optimized performance, cost savings, efficiency, and overall return on investment across the organization.

Location Indianapolis, IN

The Scope:

This role manages a complex project portfolio within the Operational Excellence team, including:

  • Managing projects end-to-end using standard project management methodologies, processes, and tools
  • Applying DMAIC, Yellow Belt, and Green Belt frameworks to drive process improvement initiatives
  • Developing detailed project plans based on customer specifications to optimize performance and achieve measurable outcomes
  • Coordinating resource planning to ensure projects are staffed and executed appropriately
  • Partnering with cross-functional stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, efficiency gains, and return on investment
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on schedule, and within budget

Candidate Qualifications

Candidates for this position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent years of experience required.

  • 3–5 years of relevant Project Management experience required.

  • PMP certification preferred.

  • Healthcare industry experience a plus.

  • Experience working in a complex, matrix environment required.

  • Familiarity with DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or Green Belt) methodologies strongly preferred.
