14936 – Project Manager (onsite) – Austin, TX

Type: Temporary Project

Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions

Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client’s site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client

Required:

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required);
• IT project management experience. (8+ years)
• Experience in demonstrated leadership of hardware deployment or enterprise refresh programs (8+ years)

Preferred:

• Experience with SDLC, PMBOK, Agile delivery coordination, change management, and enterprise IT operations. (6 years)
• Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and standard OAG workflow tools. (6 years)
• Experience with Texas state agencies. (6 years)
• Prior experience supporting statewide IT. (6 years)
• Experience organizing logistics for deployments exceeding 800+ devices. (6 years)
• PMP, CSM, or ITIL certifications.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Lead and manage large-scale IT projects, specifically directing enterprise hardware deployment and technology refresh programs, including complex logistics for 800+ device rollouts
• Apply PMBOK, Agile, and ITIL methodologies to coordinate project delivery, manage organizational change, and ensure seamless enterprise IT operations
• Direct cross-functional teams and manage multiple external vendors to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful execution within Texas state agency environments
• Facilitate clear, effective communication across all organizational levels—from executive leadership to technical teams and end-users—to align project goals and resolve issues
• Utilize MS Project, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, and standard OAG workflow tools to develop project plans, track progress, manage resources, and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to proactively identify risks, mitigate deployment challenges, and optimize operational workflows throughout the project lifecycle
