Project Manager | Multifamily | San Jose, CA

A Bay Area general contractor is adding a Project Manager to run ground-up multifamily work. You will own one project at a time alongside the superintendent, from mobilization to closeout, with a real say in how it gets built. Direct-hire, full-time.

The work

• Run your project with the superintendent from startup through closeout
• Own cost, time, and quality on your job
• Coordinate the design team, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Lead and develop the APM, project engineer, and project admin on your job
• Be the owner's day-to-day contact and keep cost reports and forecasts tight
• Keep prevailing wage, insurance, and safety requirements in order

What you bring

• Multifamily project management experience (required)
• 5+ years in construction project management, including time as an APM
• Affordable housing and prevailing wage work a plus
• Projects you have taken start to finish
• Comfort with Procore or similar project management software

Logistics

• Office-based in San Jose with regular site time
• Bay Area local candidates; no relocation
• U.S. work authorization required
