Are you an experienced project manager with a passion for delivering high-quality building and refurbishment outcomes? Macquarie University is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Property Management team in the Minor Works Portfolio, where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming campus infrastructure and creating spaces that inspire learning, research, and collaboration.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of minor works and refurbishment projects valued up to $5 million, working alongside a collaborative team of property professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional outcomes for the University community. You'll enjoy the autonomy to drive projects from inception to completion while being supported by experienced senior leaders and a committed Project Coordinator.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Project Management, you will manage new build, refurbishment and/or infrastructure projects across the full project delivery lifecycle. Your key responsibilities will include:

The Property team at Macquarie University is responsible for all University-owned and leased assets. We plan, design, deliver, and maintain infrastructure to meet the needs of our diverse community. The Project Management team works closely with the Strategy and Planning team to build the infrastructure required for our clients, covering a diverse range of projects from minor works and refurbishments through to the construction of new buildings that transform the campus landscape.
About You
You are a proactive and detail-oriented project management professional who thrives in a collaborative environment. You bring strong technical knowledge of building design and compliance, combined with excellent stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
