· Assisting in the development and deployment of the China region technology and cost saving roadmap in alignment with business priorities.
· Driving project portfolio management within the DEA team to ensure project prioritization, resource visibility, milestone tracking, and delivery effectiveness.
· Promoting and embedding an engineering excellence culture through best practices, standardization, capability building, and continuous improvement initiatives.
On-going Tasks:
· Support the managers and key stakeholders in defining and updating the China region technology roadmap and cost saving pipeline based on business strategy, operational priorities, and engineering opportunities.
· Identify, collect, and consolidate project opportunities related to technology upgrade, productivity improvement, cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process optimization.
· Drive DEA team project portfolio management, including project intake, prioritization, governance, schedule tracking, risk identification, and resource coordination.
· Establish and maintain portfolio review mechanisms to ensure transparency on project status, milestones, budget, risks, and expected benefits.
· Monitor the execution progress of key engineering projects and follow up with project owners to ensure timely closure of actions and delivery of committed results.
· Develop and maintain project management tools, templates, dashboards, and reporting systems to improve portfolio visibility and management efficiency.
· Track and analyze project performance metrics, including cost saving, timeline adherence, resource utilization, and project benefits realization.
· Support the DEA team in standardizing project management methodology, working processes, and documentation practices.
· Promote engineering excellence culture through sharing of best practices, lessons learned, benchmarking, and continuous improvement initiatives.
· Organize and coordinate engineering excellence related workshops, review meetings, communication sessions, and capability development activities.
· Drive effective communication across stakeholders to ensure alignment on project priorities, expectations, and execution status.
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, engineering program management, manufacturing engineering, or operational excellence in a multinational company is preferred.
· Experience in driving cross-functional projects and managing multiple initiatives in a portfolio environment.
· Experience in cost saving, process improvement, technology deployment, or engineering transformation is highly preferred.
· Proven track record of delivering results in a matrix and cross-functional organization.
· Strong project management knowledge and practical experience in driving multiple projects simultaneously.
· Good understanding of engineering operations, manufacturing environment, and continuous improvement principles.
· Strong capability in portfolio management, project prioritization, and milestone tracking.
· Ability to translate strategic direction into actionable project plans and execution roadmap.
· Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
· Good facilitation and coordination skills across functions and organizational levels.
· Ability to use data, metrics, and dashboards to support project tracking and decision making.
· Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and execution discipline.
· Team-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated.
· Fluent in written and oral English.
· Proficiency in common project management and reporting tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, and other project tracking systems.
