Summary
The Project Manager at Signature Retail Services is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing retail merchandising and light construction projects for national big-box retailers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, and Walmart. This role manages projects from initiation through close-out across multiple locations while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and retailer standards are consistently met. The Project Manager serves as a primary liaison between clients, store leadership, vendors, and field teams while setting the example for professionalism, reliability, and strong leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and professionalism at all times
- Lead by example and uphold company standards in the field
- Mentor, train, and develop team members and future leaders
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from kickoff through completion
- Develop critical path schedules using store walks and project blueprints
- Support scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
- Utilize internal systems and client platforms (e.g., MLX) to track progress
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and reporting
- Manage labor hours, overtime, and overall project expenses
- Ensure projects remain within approved budgets
- Identify potential risks and resolve project challenges efficiently
- Adapt quickly to changing project needs and field conditions

- Retailer compliance and reporting accuracy

QualificationsMinimum

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of proven project management experience in retail merchandising or construction
- Experience working in big-box retail environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and locations concurrently
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as required, including overnight stay
