About Our Client

Our client is a global leader in commercial real estate and investment management, offering comprehensive property and advisory services across numerous countries.

The Project Manager (MEP / C&S) will be responsible for leading and overseeing complex construction projects, with a primary focus on Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Civil & Structural (C&S) engineering disciplines. This role ensures the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion, adhering to industry standards, budget constraints, and schedule requirements within the Architecture, Building, and Construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of construction projects with a strong emphasis on MEP and C&S scope, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality specifications.
• Coordinate extensively with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and specialty subcontractors to integrate design and construction activities for complex building systems.
• Manage the procurement process for MEP and C&S packages, including tendering, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring of contractors and suppliers.
• Oversee on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection) and structural components, ensuring compliance with design documents and regulatory standards.
• Implement robust quality control procedures, conduct regular site inspections, and review shop drawings, submittals, and as-built documentation for MEP/C&S elements.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to MEP and C&S installations, ensuring effective problem-solving and proactive management of potential issues.
• Prepare and present detailed project reports, progress updates, and financial forecasts to stakeholders, maintaining clear communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE, IBC, Eurocodes) for all MEP and C&S works.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in project management within the Architecture, Building, and Construction industry, with significant exposure to MEP and C&S scopes.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex commercial, institutional, or industrial building projects.
• Strong technical understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical power distribution, plumbing, fire protection, structural framing, and civil infrastructure.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar, and familiarity with BIM tools (e.g., Revit) for coordination and clash detection.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards (e.g., IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, NEC, Eurocodes).
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable; LEED AP or other sustainability certifications are a plus.
