Job Description

IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR AN HVAC PROJECT MANAGER for a well-respected, well-established HVAC contractor based in western Suffolk County NY.  MAJORITY OF WORK IS IN THE 5 BOROUGHS. Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial HVAC industry required.
 DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:
Managing all active jobs from start to finish
Organize and execute kick-off meetings between GC, Architect, Engineers and Subs
Organize and execute close out meetings
Provide services and information to clients in a timely fashion
Monitoring projects schedules; tracking equipment, submittals, shop drawings, permits, etc.
Daily reports from job site visits
Survey inspections and create Bid Proposals and in-house contract proposals by estimating surveyed jobs (designed build & upgrades), as necessary
Oversee all subs, techs and laborers
Oversee and monitor labor time & material, subs cost and budgets
Supervise all deliveries and equipment installation on site
Review and evaluate sub change orders, RFI's and submittals
Attend and participate in all project meetings, taking minutes and distribute to all team members in a timely fashion SKILLS:
Knowledge of HVAC systems
Ability to explain and demonstrate equipment
Cooling towers, chillers and rooftop condenser experience required
Strong communication skills, including diplomacy
Strong organizational & planning skills
Computer literacy required
Relevant work experience required
Spanish speaking a plus
Good matrix skills
Ability to multi-task
