Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale Transmission Power Project based in Mayo This is a high-profile infrastructure development requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects. The successful candidate will oversee the Civil enabling works of the project, with a strong management background required in a Civil environment.

Responsibilities:

• Take full accountability for the safe and timely delivery of the project in line with contract and budget requirements.
• Set and uphold high standards across all aspects of project execution.
• Identify and deliver on all project requirements, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
• Proactively resolve project issues in a structured and timely manner.
• Plan, review, and manage contract programmes to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead and manage Site Managers, Assistant Site Managers, and Section Managers.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure risk assessments are in place, reviewed, and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
• Oversee all commercial activities, including cost control, gross margin delivery, and subcontractor performance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in underground cabling, civils, or power infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success in a Project Manager role on complex, site-based projects.
• Strong background in delivering multi-disciplinary enhancement projects within time and cost constraints.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management capabilities.
