About the role

As we continue Australia's energy transition, we're seeking a Project Manager to help deliver the safe and responsible rehabilitation of the former Liddell Power Station site. This is a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile, multi-year program, and play a critical role in the rehabilitation of the former Liddell Power Station site.

You'll work on projects with real environmental, community and industry impact, partnering with government, regulators, technical specialists and senior leaders to deliver outcomes that will be felt for decades to come. You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with project managers, site leads and technical specialists across AGL's transition portfolio, sharing lessons learned, solving complex challenges together and helping shape best-practice approaches to rehabilitation and site closure across multiple sites.

What you will be doing

• In close collaboration with site-based experts, project manage remediation projects from planning through delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with NSW Treasury, regulators, consultants and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and technical specialists.
• Manage risks, dependencies, budgets and project controls.
• Support contamination assessment and remediation planning activities.
• Prepare project updates and recommendations for senior stakeholders.

What You will bring

• Experience delivering complex projects within infrastructure, environmental, rehabilitation, remediation, construction or related industries.
• Strong project management capabilities, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and contract administration.
• The ability to build trusted relationships and influence outcomes across government, regulatory, contractor and internal stakeholder groups.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, commercial and communication skills, with the ability to present clear recommendations and drive decision-making.
• A proactive, adaptable approach and the confidence to navigate complex environments while delivering outcomes safely, on time and within budget.
• Relevant qualifications in project management, engineering, environmental management or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
