
The Project Manager is responsible for managing steel detailing projects from award through close-out, ensuring scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives are achieved. Based in the Langley, BC office, this role serves as the primary client liaison and oversees production teams both in Langley and abroad.
The Project Manager provides project-level direction, planning, and coordination, ensuring that detailing and checking resources are aligned with project requirements, customer standards, and contractual obligations. While the Project Manager does not perform detailed quality control or checking activities, they are responsible for ensuring that appropriate checking processes are in place, issues are communicated, and risks are escalated to the appropriate parties.
The Project Manager works closely with internal stakeholders, offshore teams, and clients to maintain clear communication, manage documentation and change processes, track project performance, and support the successful delivery of projects in accordance with company processes.
Lines of Communication:
The Project Manager works closely with Senior Project Managers, Lead Project Manager and may report to the Executive Vice President (EVP) and Chief Operations Office (COO) as required. The role coordinates often with offshore production teams and provides direction to assigned detailers, checkers, and Project Coordinators. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients at the production level.

The hourly hiring range for this role is anticipated to be $34.00 - $45.00 dependent upon experience and qualifications.
For this particular position, we expect to hire near the middle of the range. We understand that there may be rare and exceptional circumstances where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position. In these cases, we may consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.
