Job Description

The Project Management Specialist at GE Healthcare Vietnam Company Ltd will lead and support the successful planning, execution, and closure of complex healthcare projects, focusing heavily on Diagnostic Imaging (DI) equipment installations. Based in Ho Chi Minh City, this role covers the Southern region and other territories as assigned, ensuring timely project delivery within scope, budget, and strict adherence to EHS guidelines and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Execution Develop and execute detailed project plans, including site readiness, installation timelines, and resource allocation for Diagnostic Imaging modalities (MRI, CT, X-Ray, etc.).
  • EHS & Quality Compliance Ensure all installation and site execution activities strictly comply with GE Healthcare’s Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations and Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Technical Site Layout & Design Review, modify, and verify hospital site layouts and engineering drawings using AutoCAD to ensure alignment with GE Healthcare's system installation specifications.
  • Technical Site Readiness Monitor hospital site construction progress, ensuring electrical, radiation shielding, HVAC, and structural requirements meet technical and safety standards.
  • Risk & Issue Management Proactively identify technical, logistical, safety, or regulatory risks and implement immediate mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
  • Financial Oversight Budget, track, and optimize project expenses, logistics costs, and resource utilization to ensure strict adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Stakeholder Coordination Act as the primary technical and project bridge between hospital executives, clinical staff, third-party contractors, and internal service/commercial teams.
  • Documentation & Compliance Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all quality control checklists, safety permits, compliance certifications, and hospital handover protocols are perfectly met.

Qualifications

  • Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Automation), Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experiencein project management or an equivalent execution role, with a proven track record in Diagnostic Imaging (DI) equipmentdeployment.
  • Technical Skills (Mandatory)Proficiency in AutoCAD is strictly requiredfor reading, editing, and verifying technical room layouts and site engineering designs.
  • Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of hospital infrastructure, power supply systems, clinical workflows, and technical layouts required for medical imaging systems.
  • Preferred Advantages (Pluses)
    • Ability to proficiently use electrical measuring equipment and tools(e.g., multimeters, insulation testers).
    • Solid knowledge of civil construction and building worksto effectively supervise hospital site renovation.
  • EHS & Quality Mindset Deep understanding of safety protocols at construction/hospitalsites and a commitment to zero-accident policies and high-quality execution standards.
  • Location & Mobility Based in Ho Chi Minh City, covering the Southern region and other locations as assigned. Frequent travel to provincial project sitesis required based on project demands.
  • Resilience Ability to work under high pressure, manage tight project deadlines, and handle unexpected site issues effectively.
  • Languages Professional fluency in written and verbal English and Vietnamese for contract negotiation and stakeholder alignment.
  • Software Advanced proficiency in project management software (MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification PMP or equivalent professional project management certification is highly preferred.
