The Project Manager will be responsible for end‑to‑end management of Industrial/Process Automation projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines, cost targets, scope, and quality standards.
• Lead overall project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and resources as per contract requirements.
• Ensure adherence to project management principles, ensuring cost optimization and productivity.
• Oversee design, engineering, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Procurement, Quality, Service).
• Validate technical specifications related to PLC, SCADA, DCS, drives, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Track project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
• Manage billing, documentation, change requests, and contract compliance.
• Optimize resources to improve project margins.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular project review meetings and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle escalations and resolve technical or commercial issues.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain project documentation as per internal and external audit requirements.
• Guide and mentor project engineers and site teams.
• Ensure safety compliance and adherence to company standards at all sites.
• Strong knowledge of Industrial Automation / Process Automation (PLC, SCADA, DCS, Drives, Instrumentation).
• Proven experience in managing medium to large‑scale automation projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer‑handling skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working with industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, Water, Manufacturing, Chemical, Pharma, FMCG, etc.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualification: B.E – Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) / Mechatronics / Instrumentation/ E&C
