Job Description

Position PurposeTheProject Manager III leads the end-to-end delivery of complex, multidimensional projects, owning the full project lifecycle from planning and development through execution, monitoring, and final delivery. This role is accountable for project scope, budget, schedule, resources, and overall team performance.The Project Manager III defines and drives the project execution strategy, translating customer scope and requirements into clear project plans that align technical solutions, operational capabilities, and financial targets. The role ensures the right balance between standard and custom solutions to meet both client expectations and project constraints.As a senior project leader, the Project Manager III drives strategic problem-solving and course correction throughout the project lifecycle. The role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts—leveraging their expertise or serving as one when needed—to deliver effective, practical solutions.Overall, the Project Manager III ensures disciplined project leadership and successful project outcomes while balancing technical feasibility, operational efficiency, and financial performance.Essential Responsibilities/Accountabilities

    • Riskmonitoringanddelay management.
    • ActiveManagementofProject financials
  • Bidding& Development
    • Lead intranslatingClientneedsinto“ TAIT language”.
    • EnsurethattheClient’svisionisconsideredthroughouttheBidding phase.
    • GenerateorcollaborateonProjectProposalsand Quotes.
    • Drive the developmentofcreativeandtechnical solutions.
    • Leadership in the costestimatesanddetermine contingencies.
    • Establishpricingandpayment schedules
  • Commercial,Contractual& Legal
    • UnderstandtheProject’scommercialtermsasoutlinedinthecontract,alongwith contractual & legal relationships formed between TAIT and the project client.
    • ActasaClientadvocatewithinTAITbyensuringthehighestlevelsofCustomerService and sustaining the boutique experience that our Clients have come to expect.
    • Maintain a uniqueconnectiontoourClients,theirteams,andtheir stakeholders
    • EnsureTAIT'sduties&responsibilitiesareproperly executed. Ensuretheclientexecutestheirdutiescorrectlyand,wherenecessary,ensureTAITs interests are protected.
  • ProjectFinances& Budgets
    • Plancashflowscheduleaccordingtoproposalsand contracts
    • Maintainpaymentscheduleand invoicing
    • Leadthedevelopmentof“AsSold”budgetattheoutsetofa Project
    • MaintainongoingForecaststotrackfordeviationsthroughoutProject lifecycle
    • MonitorandcontrolProjectcostsandChangeOrders (Extras)
    • Raiseearlyflagsforpotentialrisksaswellas opportunities
    • Provideperiodicprojectstatus reports
  • OrganizationalRelationships& Participation
    • ActasthepointofcontactandaccountableindividualfortheProjecttoseniorleadership and executive teams.
    • DevelopandmaintaingoodrelationshipswithProjectPerformanceandOperations groups
    • Proactive,open,andtransparent communication
    • Attend(and/ororganize)regularcheck-in meetings
    • Monitorteaminidentifyingwhoshouldbe“aroundthetable”forstrategic conversations
    • Utilizerelationshipstoresolvechallenges,conflicts,ordisputeswithinaProjectorbetween competing Projects
    • Attendglobalandregional“AllHands”andsimilarorganizationmeetingsand gatherings
    • Stayuptodateontimeclocking,expensereportsubmittals,andotheradministrative tasks

    • Drive opportunitiesforminorandmajorimprovementsintheProject Process
    • Participateindepartmentalandorganizational initiatives
    • Ensure“LessonsLearned”discussionsoccurforProjectsthat warrantcelebrationsof positive outcomes and critical reflection of negative outcomes

Qualifications

  • 10+ years Project management or relevant industry experience in entertainment, live events, construction management, or other relevant field. OR Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Technical Theater, or Live Event related field, plus 8+ years experience in Entertainment or Project Management
  • Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Project scheduling (e.g. MS Project, Asana)
  • Budget management and analysis (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) (e.g. Epicor, SAP)
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) (e.g. Zendesk, Salesforce)
  • Content Management System (e.g. Box, SharePoint, Google Drive)
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or fabrication processes and principles
  • Ability to be in office Monday - Friday, with travel to job sites up to 30%

Preferred Experience

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Proven track record of managing profitable projects
  • Proven ability to prioritize across multiple projects
  • Commercial and contractual responsibilities

Working Conditions and Physical EffortThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to frequently walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, stoop, and kneel each day. Specific requirements are:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift or move equipment within material handling guidelines.
  • Must be able to carry equipment within material handling guidelines.

Work conditions of the role are:Work conditions may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements such as dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.

  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks which require following basic safety precautions.

Must be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to work within or visit areas where required. This includes safety glasses, reflective vest, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, and other PPE as required by the location.
