At RES, we’re looking for purpose-driven individuals who are passionate about restoration and sustainability, and who want their work to make a lasting environmental impact. Our team members go above and beyond, bringing initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every project. Collaboration is key—we thrive on teamwork, open communication, and diverse perspectives. In a field that constantly changes, we value those who are resilient, adaptable, and resourceful in the face of challenges. If you're intellectually curious, eager to learn, and ready to help restore ecosystems and protect natural resources, you’ll find your place here.
We’re looking for a Project Manager III to lead complex restoration projects with full autonomy. You’ll oversee multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors, navigate regulatory frameworks, and drive high-quality delivery from planning to close-out. If you’re ready to step into a leadership role that balances strategic thinking with boots-on-the-ground impact—this is your opportunity. You will be covering projects in Florida, and can sit in any city where RES has offices in Florida region or remotely in Florida.
You’ll work from one of our regional offices or project hubs, collaborating with internal scientists, engineers, and field teams, as well as clients, agencies, and subcontractors. You may spend up to 25% of time traveling especially during field execution and key regulatory milestones.
A Day in the Life
Your days will be dynamic—balancing technical planning with field realities. You’ll start by finalizing your Risk Register and Project Plan, check in with your design and construction teams, and follow up on permits. In the afternoon, you might visit a restoration site to coordinate with subcontractors and monitor progress, then report on budget performance and percent complete.
You’ll use RES’s PM Best Practices (Opportunity Charters, Risk Registers, MS Project schedules) to manage scope, risk, and timelines. Whether you’re speaking with regulators, adjusting plans due to unexpected site conditions, or presenting updates to RESleadership or project partners —you’ll lead with clarity, purpose, and professionalism.
We would love to talk to you if you have many of the following:

As the nation’s largest nature-based solutions company, RES (Resource Environmental Solutions) is restoring a resilient earth for a modern world, project by project. RES creates durable, resilient natural infrastructure for communities through solutions for environmental mitigation, stormwater and water quality, and climate and flooding resilience.
RES has a unique operating model for delivering ecological mitigation and restoration projects based on science-led design, integrated delivery, and long-term performance. From headwaters to coastal shores, RES designs, builds, and sustains sites that preserve the environmental balance, lifting impaired ecosystems to restored health and ultimately, self-sufficiency. These projects restore sensitive wetland, prairie, and species habitats as well as floodplains, streams, river valleys, and coastal and tidal systems. The result is nature-based systems that cleanse water, shelter wildlife, buffer storms, and sequester carbon from the atmosphere.
