High Point, NC is a commercial manufacturing and development site focusing on gelatin based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels) High Point is a Softgel Center of Excellence since 1996, offering extensive development and commercial scale capabilities for a variety of softgel technologies.

Day in the Life:

Independently manage all business aspects of the project / portfolio including: (80%)

  • Manage multiple client projects, including strategic accounts, ensuring project deliverables and financial milestone are executed in accordance with required timelines.

  • With personal responsibility for a portfolio of projects, the role holder will be the primary relationship manager, driving communication for successful business delivery and exemplary client service in order to provide maximum benefit for the company in a sustainable manner.

  • Lead and facilitate risk mitigation and issue escalation processthrough coordination of internal resources, serving as a liaison with Site Leadership to ensure effective solution/resolution

  • Act as the internal client advocate,leading regular and ad hoc customer meetings,internal team meetings,site visits, and Business Review meetingsforassigned accounts.

  • Responsible for account managementofassigned clients/portfolios, includingchangesof scope,project expansion and commercial life cycle management.

  • Manage SOR forecast,attainment of financial goals and KPI metricsfor project portfolio

  • Ensure client and Thermo Fisher Scientific are operating in compliance with the contractual requirements (accruals, bill backs, service charges, etc.).

  • UtilizeMySupply,SmartSheetand other toolsin order to measure project performance,monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders.

  • Serve as the liaison between Pharmaceutical Development Services (PDS) and Drug Product Services (DPS) management to coordinate the introduction of new products from the PDS pipeline

  • Support of new business pipeline discussions with potential clients

Train and MentorProject Managers / Project Coordinator as required:(10%)

  • Provide training/development as required

  • Mentor/train PMs / Functional Project Team members onPMand related processes as required.

Other management duties (10%)

  • Work with PMO and local team to continuously improvePM andproject delivery practices.

  • Support or lead global PMOor PDS initiatives.

  • Feedback to Functional Leadership on project team member performance

  • Represent or deputize for PM Senior staff as required.

Keys to Success:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree inrelevantscientific or engineering fieldwithminimum4years relatedindustry experience (pharmaceutical development experience an advantage)

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of Project Management experience
  • PMP certificationpreferred

  • Experience working with external clients preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Well organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate others
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications

  • Ability to make and meet commitments

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Demonstrated commitment to our fundamental principles of Integrity, Respect, & Excellence

  • Client interface experience and strong negotiating skills

  • Proficiency with English language
