About the role:

Lead and deliver multiple data center infrastructure projects, including technology upgrades, hardware refreshes, system implementations, decommissioning, and consolidation initiatives. Partner closely with technical teams to drive successful project execution, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure projects are delivered on time and aligned with business objectives.

About the team:

Join the FIS MIT Project Management team, which oversees infrastructure and technology initiatives that support operational excellence and cost optimization. You'll collaborate with engineering, operations, architecture, and business stakeholders to deliver projects that enhance technology capabilities and improve operational efficiency.

What you will be doing:

• Manage infrastructure and data center projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute technology changes, deployments, upgrades, and migration activities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and stakeholder communications.
• Establish and document standard processes for data center-related projects and change activities.
• Provide guidance, training, and best practices to project managers supporting infrastructure initiatives.

What you will need:

• 5+ years of project management experience leading infrastructure, data center, or technology-focused initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies, infrastructure components, and change management processes.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating cross-functional technical teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• Experience using project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks.

Added bonus if you have: 

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Scrum, or other project management certifications.
• Experience working within enterprise data center environments and large-scale infrastructure transformation programs.
• Knowledge of server, storage, virtualization, network, security, and cloud technologies.
• Experience managing technology consolidation, migration, modernization, or decommission initiatives.
• Familiarity with financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industry environments.
• Experience supporting disaster recovery, business continuity, or data center resiliency initiatives.
• Proven ability to drive cross-functional projects involving multiple technical disciplines and geographically dispersed teams.
