The Project Manager II for the Center for Managed Technology Services (CMTS) manages medium-scope, complex technology projects from planning through implementation. The position exercises independent judgment in developing project plans, coordinating resources and activities, tracking budgets, timelines, deliverables, and risks, and providing periodic project evaluations and status reports. This role supervises, coordinates, and assists with the completion of CMTS projects and develops and coordinates project plans through full implementation.
The Project Manager II serves as a senior business operations resource for CMTS, supporting block-based service delivery, cost recovery, and research IT operations. The role requires the ability to manage complex organizational processes, generate project and implementation reporting, while ensuring compliance with university, system, and sponsor requirements.
The position supports CMTS as a proactively managed IT service and research support service center, requiring strong organizational capability and the ability to coordinate across technical teams, researchers, leadership, and partner institutions.
Salary: Compensation for this position is commensurate based on the selected candidate’s qualifications.

Flexible Work Arrangements: This is a full-time, on-site position. Remote work is not available for this role at this time. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site during their regularly scheduled work hours.
