The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing a wide variety of control system projects; from proposal generation through closeout. Coordinates internal and external personnel to complete projects on time and under budget. Undertakes strategic projects, or multiple projects of varying size. Works with technical staff and seeks guidance from experienced project leads, the company directors, and principals. Provides guidance and training to junior project managers.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science; Engineering or other pertinent curriculum combined with relevant technical experience.
  • Typically, 10+ years total experience with at least 5+ years as a project manager.
  • Position requires project management construction of a data center and will work onsite in Port Washington, WI.
  • Proven Track Record: 2+ year as previous level

Responsibilities & Capabilities

  • Demonstrate strong field experience with associated trades and hands-on understanding of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
  • Understand control system design and system interfaces, including safety and process impacts.
  • Enforce safety, quality, and QMS requirements across field activities and subcontractors.
  • Manage subcontractor scope, execution, and quality standards.
  • Communicate proactively and professionally with customers, trade partners, and internal teams.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and documentation review as needed.
  • Accurately plan, forecast, and execute project tasks, including scope development and change management.
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable team environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Provide steady, effective leadership during high-pressure or uncertain conditions.
  • Make sound decisions, identify and mitigate risks, and adjust scope or pricing as required.
  • Operate with accountability, professionalism, and a strong commitment to project and team success.
  • Direct and oversee multiple managers, including electrical installation, commissioning, project administration, and safety.

Travel required:

  • Majority of work will be onsite in Port Washington, WI, through closeout of the project. Some various times of "on call" demand may arise.
  • Future travel or project relocation may be required based on customer and program needs.

Work Authorization/Other Requirements:

  • Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
  • Maintain a valid drivers license.
  • Fit for Duty at all times
