The Project Manager I partners with Marketing leadership and team members to plan, manage, and deliver marketing, advertising, experiential, and cultural programs for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The position translates approved strategic direction and creative vision into actionable project scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement requirements, and execution plans. It manages multiple concurrent projects from initiation through closeout, coordinates internal teams and external vendors, and maintains visibility into workload, project progress, and spending.
The position supports programs that strengthen the airport brand, improve the passenger experience, engage employees and the community, and advance commercial revenue goals. Assignments may include integrated campaigns, paid advertising, digital media, concessions and parking marketing, loyalty programs, events, environmental branding, installations, and art and cultural programming. The role requires independent judgment, consistent follow-through, and the ability to resolve routine delivery issues within approved scope and authority.
Works under general supervision of Marketing leadership. Independently manages assigned projects within established priorities, budgets, and procedures. Coordinates the work of project participants and vendors; formal supervisory responsibilities apply only when assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field, with five (5) years to seven (7) years of related experience managing marketing, advertising, experiential, or comparable projects in CPG, government or agency environment. Experience must include coordinating project schedules, vendors, and budgets.
This job requires mandatory in-office work.
Seven (7) years of project management experience supporting marketing campaigns, advertising, events, or experiential programs. Experience with procurement, agency or vendor oversight, budget reconciliation, and Monday.com is preferred. Experience coordinating work across multiple teams in an airport, public institution, or similarly complex environment is desirable.
