About the Role


We’re seeking an Assistant/Junior Project Manager or established Project Manager to support and lead the delivery of a wide range of projects throughout Tasmania. Working closely with other Tasmanian-based senior project professionals, this is a pivotal role for someone who wants to build their expertise in built-form project management, with the current confidence to support and manage scoping, design & delivery phases of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and manage the end-to-end delivery of construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Manage contract administration processes, including variations, progress claims, and compliance.
  • Coordinate and lead project teams, fostering collaboration across consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Provide accurate reporting and updates to senior leadership and clients.

About You

You’re an aspiring, or established Project Manager who thrives in complex environments, bring strong commercial acumen, and have exceptional stakeholder management skills.

  • At least 3-4+ years’ experience from the Construction Industry
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Project Management, Engineering, Property, Architecture, or related disciplines strongly preferred
  • Background in built-form projects in Tasmanian market strongly preferred, ideally with existing experience of exposure to consultancy or client-side roles.
  • Computer literacy is a must and strong presentation skills, excel, MS project and group presentation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive outcomes.
  • A blend of autonomy, curiosity, and teamwork — comfortable working independently and contributing to a broader program team
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to bring confidence to project management process.
