Liberty University is seeking dynamic and skilled Project Managers (Levels I–IV) to support the planning, coordination, and execution of campus construction and renovation projects. Project Managers contribute directly to Liberty’s mission by ensuring campus facilities are designed, built, and maintained with excellence in quality, safety, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with university values.
This role may manage small-scale improvements or large capital initiatives exceeding $100M, depending on level. Project Managers are responsible for full project lifecycle management—from initial planning and procurement to construction oversight and closeout.

Physical and Sensory Abilities
The essential functions of this position are performed in both indoor and outdoor settings, including climate-controlled offices and active construction sites. The position requires physical activity such as bending, twisting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, and stooping. Work may be conducted in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and humidity. Duties may also involve working at heights or in physically demanding conditions on active job sites.
Employee is required to travel in performing the duties and responsibilities of the position, the use of one’s personal vehicle (or LU vehicles) may be required for travel. Proof of a valid driver’s license, an acceptable DMV record, LU Driving Approval, and liability insurance is required when driving in the performance of the employee’s position. Must be 21 years of age or older and have held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years if you are a U.S. citizen, or 7 years if you are an international citizen and become a LU approved driver.

Compensation is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, along with University needs and external market conditions. Market benchmarks may be used, as appropriate, in combination with internal equity to ensure pay is fair and aligned with the broader compensation structure.
