As a Project Manager, this position entails leading communication and driving execution of all tasks related to onboarding a new customer and / or new SKU(s). This individual will work with various functional teams throughout the business including Sales, R&D, Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Quality, Logistics, Packaging, and Customer Service to ensure the phase gate requirements are being achieved according to customer timeline expectations. This individual builds timelines, records data, and manages risk related to project risk.

- Monitors and documents details gathered during project execution related to project health and task completion.
- Identifies process bottlenecks and identifies opportunities to achieve better results. Gathers team to communicate issues and work on ways to break down the barriers preventing completion of task(s).
- Uses out of the box thinking to make suggestions which improve project management tools used to manage customer data and project workflows.
- Tracks and maintains key metrics related to project performance by using established tools, tracking measures, and methodology. Proactively communicates project details with internal and external partners.
- Ensures flawless integration of new customers and their related projects into the business for domestic, cross border, and export sales opportunities by providing an unparalleled customer experience.
- Creates strong professional relationships and acts as an extension of the sales department by coordinating and participating in customer meetings, video conferences, visits, tours, pilots, trade shows and other business development related activities.
- Validates and distributes appropriately all customer data related to terms, pricing, terms, order quantities, forecasts, product specifications, payment, testing and shipping requirements.
- Tracks and dispositions customer-provided raw materials, remaining materials, and finished goods to ensure inventory arrives in time to support production and is shipped out when production is complete.
- Familiarizes oneself and manages data with Best Formulations system applications including CRM, Monday.Com, Portal, Production schedules, Process Pro, PI, ICRM, etc.
- Supplies timelines in Gantt form and conducts Lessons Learned meetings as projects require.
- Ensure all charges to customer for finished goods, excess materials, expedite fees, testing, and other fees have been appropriately billed to customer upon completion of first lot to stock.
- As required, customer order entry and all related order data management process, documentation, and system management related to that order.
- Performs all essential duties related to onboarding customers, entering orders, managing details related to order fulfillment (similar to customer service team duties).
- Responds to customer complaints related to products produced as a first lot to stock items.
- Develops and delivers presentations to customers related to specific new projects and their status.
- In collaboration with Sales and other functional areas, performs all set up requirements related to the customer and their new items in the Sirio and Best Formulation information management system including the CRM and Portal. Shares and stores all related data appropriately.
- Follows key established department SOP's, cGMP regulations, and batch record instructions.
- Conducts project introduction, periodic project status, and lessons learned meetings to inform and align internal and external business partners on project requirements.
- Complies with all Company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
- Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
- Performs other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.

- Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in English; bilingual (English/Spanish) (English/Mandarin) skills a plus.

SELECTION GUIDELINES
The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate; and
- College Degree in Business, Project Management, Lean Management or similar discipline.
- Project Management certificate or more than 5 years of work experience related to managing projects in a manufacturing environment a plus.
- Willingness to continue education to keep abreast of advances in technology and project management guidelines through seminars, webinars, college courses, certification courses, etc.
