Trillium Health Partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional projects within its Patient Support Services and Medical Device Reprocessing portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Patient Support Services and Medical Device Reprocessing, the Project Manager will also be responsible for supporting THP’s environmental sustainability initiatives. This role will use knowledge and understanding of the business environment to work collaboratively with all members of the team and executive leadership to plan, implement, and monitor the progress of projects as assigned. As part of this role, the Project Manager will facilitate the integration of project planning and delivery to identify dependencies, maximize opportunities for collaboration, and minimize risks and issues. The Project Manager will also support system-level change initiatives that have broad impact across the program and organization. This position is a hybrid work model, which consists of a mix of work from home and on-site work as determined by operational needs.

Specific Accountabilities:

    • Lead overall end-to-end project management ownership of multiple projects throughout the project life cycle within a multi-disciplinary team environment, including monitoring the deliverables of each project to ensure milestones are met and a high - quality result is obtained

    • Regularly collaborate with project sponsors and partners at various levels to build and maintain strong relationships for successful project and program delivery

    • Maintain a strong focus on change management and communications across the multiple partners to minimize employee resistance and maximize employee engagement, ensuring smooth adoption of changes impacting employees and the organization. Develop the change management approach in collaboration with program leaders.

    • Monitor and report on progress, problems and solutions of the project to all partners and escalate issues as appropriate.

    • Maintain and track the project budget and collaborate regularly with finance team

    • Engage and communicate with Director and Managers and Physician Leadership to on implementation progress and discuss risks and mitigations and strategies to resolve for project success. Strong focus on internal and external partnerships, responsible for financial management, strong team dynamics, and process efficiencies

    • Prepares proposals, briefing notes, and business cases to support strategic work

Skills & Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree required (business, life sciences, or related discipline preferred)

    • Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management in healthcare environments such as hospitals, government, or private sector required

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent designation and Change Management Certification are assets

      • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects, preferably in a public sector or healthcare environment with multiple collaborators

      • Strong leadership, adaptability, and interpersonal/collaboration skills are essential for this role, including the ability to build strong relationships across different levels of leadership

      • Experience with project management processes and best practices

      • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills

      • Demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

      • Superior analytical skills to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources with the ability to anticipate and identify risks and develop effective mitigation strategies

      • Superior writing skills to communicate information effectively to relevant partners, with the ability to explain and communicate complex topics using plain language

      • Strong working knowledge of computer applications, especially the Microsoft Office suite

        • Demonstrated effectiveness at leading and working with teams, including supporting collaborative design of workflows, policies, and procedures with cross-functional groups

        • Demonstrated ability to develop effective and comprehensive reports and presentations for various audiences, including executives, administrators, and clinicians

Position Location & Travel:

The successful candidate will be primarily based out of the Credit Valley Hospital site and will be

required to travel among the three main sites of Trillium Health Partners – The Credit Valley

Hospital, Mississauga Hospital, and Queensway Health Centre.
