We are representing client that offer a wide range of security solutions suitable for all applications. As they continue to expand, they are seeking for Project Manager - HVM to be based at their Malaysia office in Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Job Title: Project Manager - HVM (New Position)
Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Job Type: Permanent | 5.5 working Days
Salary Range: RM9,000 to RM13,000 (Basic) + Travel Allowances + Claims

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead and execute High-Security Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) and systems integration projects. Youll be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from planning through delivery ensuring alignment with technical, budget, and timeline expectations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Scope Analysis

• Interpret Statements of Work (SOW), drawings, and schematics
• Define project scopes, timelines, and resource plans

2. Project Execution & Coordination

• Manage day-to-day activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
• Oversee cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure execution consistency

3. Schedule & Resource Management

• Develop, track, and update detailed project schedules
• Allocate and manage internal and external resources efficiently

4. Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams
• Provide regular updates, reports, and progress documentation

5. Collaboration & Site Meetings

• Work closely with clients, contractors, and construction teams
• Attend on-site meetings and conference calls to align project goals

6. Budget & Risk Management

• Monitor financial performance to ensure adherence to budgets
• Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies

7. Tender & Procurement Support

• Support the preparation of tender documentation for material procurement
• Participate in supplier/vendor interviews when required

8. Project Handover

• Ensure smooth transition of completed projects to maintenance or service teams

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• PMP Certification is an added advantage
• Minimum 10 years of total working experience, with at least 3 years in project management
• Experience in the Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) or security systems industry is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and construction documentation
• Proven experience managing projects with MNCs or corporate clients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
• High integrity, problem-solving mindset, and attention to detail
• Possess own transport and willing to travel across Malaysia based on project demands
