What you will do:
The HVAC Project Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of HVAC systems for large‑scale data center and mission critical projects. This role ensures safe, timely, cost‑effective, and quality project execution, while serving as the primary interface with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
The Project Manager will lead site teams, manage project risks, and drive operational excellence from contract award through project completion and handover.
How you will do it:
Lead and manage HVAC projects from design coordination, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning (T&C), to final handover
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with contract scope, specifications, schedule, and budget
Develop and monitor project execution plans, master schedule, and manpower allocation
Oversee critical path activities and implement recovery plans when needed
Manage project cost control, budget forecasting, and cash flow
Review and approve subcontractor progress claims and variation orders
Identify, evaluate, and submit variation orders and extension of time (EOT) claims
Ensure compliance with contractual and commercial requirements
Act as the primary point of contact with clients, consultants, and main contractors
Lead project meetings (technical, progress, coordination, and commercial)
Ensure timely submission and approval of shop drawings, method statements, and technical documents
Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and future opportunities
Lead and mentor project engineers, supervisors, and site teams
Coordinate closely with MEP, CSA, vendors, and commissioning teams
Ensure effective communication between site, engineering, procurement, and management teams
Ensure compliance with project QA/QC requirements, authority regulations, and industry standards
Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE policies and site safety requirements
Oversee inspections, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance
Identify and manage project risks related to design, schedule, cost, and resources
Proactively resolve site issues and technical challenges
Escalate critical risks with mitigation plans in a timely manner
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline
Minimum 7 years of experience in HVAC project delivery
Proven experience managing large‑scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects
Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC, AHUs, ventilation, and preferred BMS integration
Experience with mission‑critical or data center projects is a strong advantage
Understanding of HVAC design, installation sequences, and T&C processes
Sound knowledge of contract management, project controls, and cost management
Familiar with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements
Knowledgeable in MS Project / Primavera, MS Excel, and reporting tools
