Job Description

As a Project Manager, High Acuity Care, you will be responsible of managing anesthesia and critical care management system implementation projects mainly in Romanian market but scope may also include activities elsewhere in Europe. Implementation includes managing hardware and software deliveries, their implementation, configuration and testing utilizing inhouse and subcontractor resources.

You will also make sure GE HealthCare delivers services according to agreed service contracts, create reports from service performance against agreed service levels and manage/host regular service meetings with High Acuity customers.

In case of customer escalation about service performance you are accountable and responsible of internal and external communication.

You manage delivery projects when needed including net new implementations, system upgrades, system extensions and other small projects.

You will be part of a strong International Healthcare High Acuity team.

Responsibilities

  • Leading end‑to‑end delivery of High Acuity Care projects, including new implementations, upgrades, extensions, and smaller delivery initiatives,

  • Full planning, monitoring, and control of project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables,

  • Managing risks and implementing mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle,

  • Acting as the primary point of contact during all delivery phases, including conflict resolution and escalations,

  • Serving as the main communication link between GE HealthCare and healthcare customers,

  • Hosting regular service meetings and ensuring alignment of expectations for all service and project activities,

  • Managing internal and external communication in case of service performance escalations,

  • Ensuring services are delivered according to contractual agreements and service levels,

  • Managing procurement activities and coordinating hardware and software deliveries,

  • Overseeing installation, configuration, and testing activities performed by internal teams and subcontractors,

  • Preparing professional and technical documentation required for project execution,

  • Ensuring all project documentation meets internal and customer standards,

  • Working closely with sales, application specialists, technical services, and service desk teams,

  • Collaborating with global engineering, product management, and marketing teams,

  • Aligning internal and external expectations for project and service delivery,

  • Preparing performance reports and presenting service outcomes to customers,

  • Coordinating with internal service teams to maintain high service quality.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare environments and clinical workflows in ICUs and operating rooms.

  • High level of professionalism, composure, and customer‑facing experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in project management within IT delivery environments.

  • Strong process orientation and commitment to quality.

  • Experience in Healthcare IT and familiarity with hospital information systems.
