Overview

TRC is seeking an Industrial Hygiene Project Manager to join our Ann Arbor, MI office. This position will work on various public and private projects throughout Michigan and adjacent states. This

position would be working within our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene business within our Environmental Sector.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hazardous building material inspections for asbestos, lead-based paint, PCBs.
  • Perform indoor air quality inspections, water intrusion investigation and mold assessments.
  • Perform project oversight and coordination with contractors.
  • Operate and maintain instruments including sampling pumps, calibrators and microscopes.
  • Collect samples as required by various regulatory agencies, complete data sheets, chain of

custody forms and prepare samples for shipment to laboratory.

  • Maintain daily logs of activities related to project work.
  • Interact and communicate with clients, contractors and regulatory agency representatives.
  • Read project specifications and drawings.
  • Prepare reports.
  • Occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of project management experience in various aspects of hazardous material

abatement and/or remediation.

  • One or more of following licensed are a required: State of Michigan, Occupational Safety

and Health Administration Asbestos Inspector, contractor supervisor and management

planner.

  • Adjacent states asbestos licenses a plus.
  • Must be able to read project specifications and drawings.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Must be a good communicator and a team player.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to various work schedules and situations related to emergency

response scenarios.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable means of transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle records check.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $84,427.20 - USD $90,000.00 /Yr.
