The Project Manager leads cross-functional teams in the development, execution, and commercialization of new products, technologies, equipment, and process improvements. The role is responsible for defining integrated project plans, managing budgets and risks, coordinating resources, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This position partners with engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams to deliver compliant, efficient, and cost-effective project outcomes while supporting continuous improvement and organizational strategy.
• Lead cross-functional and cross‑geographical teams to achieve project deliverables and business objectives.
• Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and ROI assessments.
• Coordinate project activities across engineering, operations, quality, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage risks, identify gaps, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Lead technical scope definition, including process concepts, specifications, validation plans, and acceptance testing.
• Oversee process development, characterization, and testing using DOE and statistical tools.
• Coordinate equipment and process qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ) and support manufacturing transfer.
• Communicate project status, milestones, and interdependencies to leadership and stakeholders.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, internal partners, and senior leadership.
• Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to team members and contribute to organizational capability building.
• Participate in capacity modeling, strategic planning, and cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and design control requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects requiring strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret technical data and assess implications for design, manufacturing, and commercialization activities.
• Frequent communication, presentation, and collaboration across all organizational levels.
• Ability to work at a computer for extended periods and engage in occasional on‑site manufacturing activities.
• Ability to travel occasionally based on business needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
•5-8 years of engineering experience within manufacturing or related fields.
• Minimum 3 years of project/program management experience, preferably within a regulated industry.
• Experience with automated production equipment, DOE methods, and statistical analysis tools.
• Demonstrated experience in process development, equipment qualification, and design controls.
• Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and structured problem-solving.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other FDA‑regulated environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical writing capabilities.
• Ability to apply critical thinking, business acumen, and data‑driven decision making.
