We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the sustainment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of GEOINT (Geospatial Intelligence) capability systems operating across multiple security classifications.
These systems and platforms enable the collection, production, dissemination, and access to GEOINT data, information, and services critical to mission outcomes.
In this role, you will lead the planning, development, and implementation of sustainment activities for GEOINT mission systems. You will be responsible for overseeing both Financial Year and Multi-Year sustainment planning cycles, managing ad hoc ICT projects, and supporting governance forums.
Operating within a Product Management Office (PMO), you will lead a small multi-skilled team while working closely with a broad range of stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
You will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of medium-scale projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and maintaining structured project management practices. This includes selecting and applying appropriate methodologies, whether predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (agile/iterative), depending on the project context.
There may also be opportunities for suitable candidates to be considered for other sustainment or delivery teams within related GEOINT capability areas.
This role is based in Canberra and requires on-site attendance. Flexible work arrangements may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Occasional out-of-hours support and domestic travel may be required.
A TSPV clearance is required for this role.
