Job Description

Scheduled Hours

40Position will serve under the Business Director and provide project management for the clinical operations of the General Medicine and Geriatrics sections of the to-be-formed Division of General Internal Medicine. General Medicine and Geriatrics combined have 42 Clinical Faculty and 6 APPs, 46,000 encounters per year.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Section Chief of Ambulatory care on projects to assess operations by generating reports and analyzing clinical encounter data, including RVU assessment.
  • Oversee and develop staff members responsible for complex division schedules, including six (6) distinct outpatient/clinic schedules, and clinical metrics reporting.
  • Generate effort for faculty and clinical staff based on clinically scheduled efforts, resulting in Payroll Costing Allocations for faculty and APPs aligning with appropriate Function type.
  • Support clinic leads with administrative infrastructure by updating supporting documents within electronic repositories.
  • Oversee Epic Validation Portal entry for appropriate assignment of roles.
  • Attend meetings with partners to assess needs of clinical proposals and staffing requirements.
  • Assess clinical billing results, shares documentation best practices, and shares best practices guidance as instructed from compliance at Department level.
  • Partner with Communications staff member on public facing marketing materials for GIM outpatient clinics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

$49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / AnnuallyThe salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
