We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of G enAI and data-driven solutions for enterprise and financial-services (banking) clients - across the full project lifecycle, from mobilization and setup through delivery and closure. You will stand up the project foundation (environments, tooling, working mechanisms, financial governance, and sign-off frameworks) and then drive on-time, high-quality delivery, effective resource coordination, and strong customer satisfaction.

A key expectation is the ability to operate in “governance mode” during the mobilization phase - not just tracking sprint tasks, but establishing the environments, integrations, working cadence, cost transparency, and sign-off mechanisms the project depends on. You will work closely with engineering, product, data, and business teams to drive execution discipline, manage risk proactively, and ensure every deliverable meets both technical and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project mobilization, foundation & Delivery execution
  • Lead the mobilization phase: stand up dev, staging, and production environments, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and access controls before full sprint execution.

  • Provision and configure the delivery tooling stack (Jira, Slack, Confluence, cloud/dev accounts) and ensure cross-tool integration so teams work from a unified view.

  • Drive end-to-end execution - all deliverables on time, in scope, and at expected quality; maintain clear plans, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across teams.

  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and delays; drive mitigation and timely escalation; enforce acceptance criteria before delivery.

Resource planning & Optimization
  • Plan and allocate resources across projects by priority, capacity, and skill set; monitor utilization and rebalance to avoid bottlenecks.

  • Sequence foundation (governance) work and sprint work during mobilization so neither is neglected.

Quality assurance, Delivery standards & Acceptance
  • Enforce quality control across deliverables (documentation, models, systems, integrations); define and uphold delivery standards and best practices.

  • Establish explicit Definition of Done / Definition of Ready and per-deliverable acceptance criteria so “done” is unambiguous for team and client.

  • Collaborate with QA and technical teams on validation, testing, and release readiness.

Stakeholder, Customer & Product Owner Alignment
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients and Product Owners through mobilization and delivery, with clear, transparent communication.

  • Align demo requirements and a sign-off matrix early; secure sign-offs against agreed acceptance criteria, avoiding retroactive or ambiguous approvals.

  • Manage client expectations on scope, timeline, and deliverables; handle feedback and escalations professionally.

Operating mechanics & Cross-functional collaboration
  • Design and document the team’s operating cadence (standups, ceremonies, PM–PO syncs, steering), communication channels, and escalation paths.

  • Establish a decision-making framework — decision rights, decision log, and change-request flow - so governance is explicit, not adhoc.

  • Coordinate closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Business teams to keep delivery aligned with client expectations.

Financial governance, reporting & Performance
  • Own operational cost visibility: build and maintain the project/phase budget (people, cloud, SaaS), track burn rate, and surface variances early.

  • Provide a cost and burn-down view to the client/PO with forecasts to end of phase.

  • Track and report progress, risks, utilization, and delivery health to leadership and clients using data and metrics.

Continuous improvement & Scalable delivery
  • Identify gaps in execution, foundation, process, and coordination; propose and implement improvements.

  • Strengthen tooling and integrations over time; leverage AI where applicable to improve efficiency and decision-making.

  • Build reusable mobilization checklists, sign-off templates, and scalable delivery frameworks for AI and data projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years in project management across internal and external/client projects; experience on data or AI projects a plus.

  • Customer-facing experience, with a background in IT services delivery rather than pure software development.

  • Banking / financial-services project experience (business or operations domain) strongly preferred.

  • Strong delivery management on complex projects — focused on timeline, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Hands-on project mobilization and setup from scratch - environments, tooling, access, and governance - operating in “governance mode” early, not only sprint tracking.

  • Practical experience with the delivery tool stack (Jira, Slack, Confluence, cloud accounts) and configuring integrations between them.

  • Experience designing operating cadences, decision frameworks, acceptance criteria, and PO/client sign-off mechanisms.

  • Financial governance - tracking budget, cost, and burn rate, and reporting cost transparency to stakeholders.

  • Resource management - planning and optimizing team capacity across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Preferably familiar with AI systems, data platforms, and the software development lifecycle.

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication; proactive problem-solving under pressure.

  • Self-driven and proactive; fluent in Vietnamese and English.
