Job Description

Project Manager

(French-fluent)

(m/f/d)

Stratio keeps public transport running. We monitor fleet health in real time and tell the world's largest operators exactly what's going to fail before it does.

We're a small, technical team of about 50 people with a very ambitious mission: growing our delivery organization to keep pace with new client rollouts across Europe.

The role

Our clients' success starts with how we deploy. You’ll own delivery for our French-speaking clients, from project kickoff to steady-state operation.

You’ll ensure a successful project implementation, a seamless integration of Stratio products with vehicles, and the effective deployment of our solutions.

In this role, you’ll coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both inside and outside Stratio, to ensure projects run smoothly and client satisfaction is high.

What your weeks look like

Project delivery & team coordination

Serve as the single point of coordination between Stratio and the client and other stakeholders involved in the project to gather, validate, and lock down all technical information required before deployment.

On top of that, you will have to ensure that projects are successfully implemented by coordinating your assigned field team. You’ll organize priorities, assign tasks, support the team, track progress, and keep communication clear, both internally and externally.

Client & onsite coordination

You coordinate onsite activities directly with clients, ensuring vehicle availability and managing administrative tasks such as compliance requirements at client depots.

Logistics & project requests

You handle project requests and the logistics that come with them, scheduling travel, accommodation, materials to support the implementation and whatever else the team needs on the ground.

Compliance, quality & documentation

You ensure compliance with Stratio's procedures and quality standards, maintained through proper project documentation.

Budget

You track and manage project expenses, keeping visibility on cost as projects move forward.

Installation partners management

You identify and onboard external installation partners, manage ongoing relationships, evaluate their performance, and ensure consistent quality across all installations.

What we're looking for

Must have:

  • Professional experience in project management or a similar role, ideally 2 to 3 years, in a customer-facing setting or working with stakeholders at an executive level

  • French C1

  • English B1 (minimum), C1 is valued

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; proactive and process-oriented, comfortable bringing structure to a fast-moving, unpredicted, and yes, sometimes chaotic environment

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

  • Proficiency in Excel

Strong plus:

  • Experience with Jira

  • Comfort using AI tools in your workflow

  • PMP certification

  • Background in the automotive (or related) industry

What this is not

This is not a purely process-driven, predictable SaaS delivery role.

You'll need to learn our business quickly, including the technical side, so you can support deployments rather than just coordinate them.

Client sites, vehicle availability, and depot compliance mean plans change, and you adapt in real time.

You'll coordinate onsite activity and travel logistics regularly.

Why this is interesting

You'd own the relationship, delivery, and outcomes for our French-speaking clients, at a company with real customers, real revenue, and a product that genuinely works.

You'd join early enough to help shape how projects get run, not just execute someone else's playbook, with direct visibility to leadership and the founders.

What we offer

  • Health Insurance to you and your children;

  • Fringe Benefits Policy (for Portugal located workers);

  • Flexible Work Hours - adjust your schedule to your needs;

  • 22 vacation days, plus up to 3 extra time off days according to your tenure;

  • Hardware and software for a remote setup;

  • Quarterly Events to discuss Strategy;

  • Autonomy and Ownership Culture;

  • Continuous feedback culture;

  • Innovation Mindset;

  • Career Acceleration.

Location

This role can be performed remotely from Portugal, onsite, or on a hybrid setup in Coimbra, Portugal.

Regardless of the arrangement, availability to attend in-person meetings at our Coimbra office is expected when required. A minimum average of once a week is expected.

What you can expect from the recruitment

  • Screening call with HR

  • 1st Interview (1h) - HR and Hiring Manager. We want to get to know you better and navigate through your experience, skills and motivation.

  • Work Simulation Exercise - Hiring Manager and Job Role Stakeholders. Deep dive into your skills and assessment of your technical knowledge.

  • Cultural Fit Interview (1h) - Head of People and Founders. Validate the cultural fit between you and Stratio and make sure you're the person we're looking for to help us build a #zerodowntimefuture.

  • Hiring Proposal

References may be required at any stage of the recruitment process.

AI & Transparency

We use AI-supported tools to help our team through the hiring process, here's how:

  • AI-assisted CV review: summarizes and suggests points for the hiring team to consider and help the team review applications faster; it does not make or influence hiring decisions.

  • Profile anonymization: your name, gender, and other personal identifiers are hidden during early screening to avoid bias.

  • Interview transcription: interviews may be recorded and transcribed to help our team focus on the conversation, with your consent.

Every decision about your application is made by a person from the hiring team. These tools assist our hiring team, they don't replace them.
