Job Description

We are looking for a project manager to achieve our growth ambitions for hot-water storage tanks, in close alignment with our EMEA heat pump strategy. Operating at the intersection of R&D, purchasing, and quality, you will lead supplier developments, secure high-value partnerships, and take full ownership of the product lifecycle from initial concept to successful market launch:

Your contribution to something big:

  • Lead OEM supplier development initiatives within our global Make & Buy Strategy.
  • Coordinate the development of new strategic sourcing partners in close collaboration with Purchasing and Quality departments.
  • Ensure externally sourced solutions meet Bosch Home Comfort's stringent quality standards and seamlessly integrate with our heat pump portfolio.
  • Identify market trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to initiate innovation, feasibility, and cost-optimization projects.
  • Take full ownership of the project lifecycle- from initial concept and development to production ramp-up and market launch.
  • Coordinate and inspire international, cross-functional teams across R&D, Procurement, Quality, and Product Management.
  • Drive critical project decisions while ensuring strict adherence to timelines, target costs, and technical specifications.
  • Communicate project progress and key milestones effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

  • University degree preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical/management field.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of proven professional experience in managing complex, international projects.
  • Strong experience working within Time-to-Market (TTM) processes and managing product development life cycles.
  • Prior experience in the HVAC industry, ideally in the field of hydraulics, heating systems, heat pumps, or similar thermal technologies.

Know how:

  • Deep understanding of project scheduling, target costing, and technical product validation.
  • Good knowledge of supplier management, OEM collaborations, and Make & Buy strategies.
  • Skill in identifying market trends, competitor benchmarks, and emerging material technologies.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Languages:

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • Fluency in German or any additional language is a valuable advantage.

Working Style and Methods:

  • A highly organized, goal-oriented, and structured approach to project management.
  • Quick grasp of complex new topics and a proactive mindset in resolving bottlenecks.

Personality:

  • A resilient, assertive leader with a strong ability to motivate and inspire international, cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of interfacing confidently across various hierarchical levels.
